Abstract

The existence of conflict in the household is unavoidable, a prolonged conflict can cause rifts in the household and even divorce. The divorce rate in Indonesia is increasing day by day. On average, those who experience this divorce are early adult women aged 20-40 years. Divorce experienced by women in early adulthood can have negative psychological effects such as feelings of worthlessness (low self-esteem). If not handled properly, of course this will become a new problem such as stress, depression, feeling unaccepted and other negative feelings.

Abstract

One that affects the success of student learning is motivation. Less motivation to learn in students will affect the decrease in enthusiasm for learning and learning outcomes. There are several factors that influence the motivation of students in learning, including the support of parents and peers. This research aims to; (1) Describe the contribution of parental support, peer conformity and students' learning motivation, and (2) examine the contribution of parental support and peer conformity together on students' learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach with analytical descriptive method. The sample in this study were students of class VII and VIII, a total of 108 students. This research instrument uses a Likert scale model. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques, then using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings show that in general; 1) students' parental support is in the high category, peer conformity of students is in the very high category, students' learning motivation is in the very high category, and 2) there is a strong and positive relationship between parental support and students' learning motivation. . This research has implications for the educational process in schools as a contribution to parental support and positive peer conformity which makes students have high learning motivation and are confident in their own abilities.

Abstract

The importance of group counseling service in solving student’s problem is not demied. The purpose of this research is to reveal the advantage of group counseling service to solve student’s problem in privat, social, and study point of view. Results of this research show that students are agreed with some advantages in group counseling service that are: (1) solving student’s problem in privat aspect which is viewed from self, friendship, family aspects, (2) solving student’s problem in social aspect that viewed from interaction and adaptation with environment, (3) solving student’s problem from study aspect that viewed from aspects of completing tasks, motivation in learning, and god study manners.

Abstract

Sebagai makhluk sosial, siswa perlu untuk saling membantu dengan orang lain, salah satunya ia harus mampu menampilkan sikap prososial, agar terciptanya iklim yang baik dalam pergaulan dengan teman sebayanya. Sebagai upaya dalam peningkatan sikap prososial siswa, dalam penelitian kali ini akan digunakan salah satu layanan bimbingan dan konseling yaitu layanan bimbingan kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok yang efektif untuk mengembangkan sikap prososial siswa. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen kuasi two-group pretest-posttest terhadap siswa SMA dengan mengambil populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa dalam satu sekolah yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen prososial. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Independent Sample T-Test dengan analisis data prososial siswa sebelum dan setelah mengikuti model bimbingan kelompok
